ControllerOur ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our organization, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks, and providing exceptional client service.Key Responsibilities:Finalize financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Prepare and review journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure correct recording and reconciliation.Manage payroll processing, including compliance with tax laws and regulations.Ensure clients receive high-quality service by responding promptly to their inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in accounting software and industry best practices.Collaborate with team members to improve workflow processes and maintain a system for monitoring and evaluating performance.Develop and implement strategies for onboarding new clients and guiding team members in providing excellent service.Lead by example and foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork among team members.Identify and address technical issues, anomalies, and non-routine items that may impact engagement outcomes.Qualifications:7+ years of experience in US accounting with a strong background in financial management.Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information effectively.Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience using cloud-based accounting solutions, such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Accounting CS.Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams and coordinating with direct clients.Exposure to US GAAP accounting rules and regulations.
