Experience Preferred: 4-8 YearsLocation: PAN IndiaMode of work: HybridJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 4-8 years of hands-on experience in JMeter scripting, load testing, and performance tuning. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain JMeter performance test scripts based on business requirements and user scenarios.- Conduct various types of performance testing: Load, Stress, Soak, and Spike tests.- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance improvements.- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to replicate and troubleshoot performance issues.- Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders.- Work with monitoring tools like Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace, etc., to collect performance metrics.- Contribute to the performance testing strategy and test planning.Required Skills- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.- Experience in scripting complex performance test cases using JMeter functions, correlation, and parameterization.- Proficiency in analyzing server-side logs and system metrics to identify performance issues.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into DevOps processes.- Working knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON/XML, and web protocols.- Familiarity with Performance Monitoring Tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good to Have- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Knowledge of additional performance tools like LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6.- Experience in database performance testing and basic SQL.- ISTQB or other testing certifications.
