Job OverviewThe position of Sr. US Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions.Key responsibilities include categorization and classification of bank transactions, accurate bank reconciliation, and efficient clearing of open items.Furthermore, the job entails payroll entry, bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation, as well as calculating and recording depreciation, amortization, deferred revenue, prepaid, and accruals.The role also involves thorough review and analysis of profit and loss statements and balance sheets, month-end closing, and reporting.Additionally, drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed and staying up-to-date with new applications and tools required for client servicing are essential tasks.Effective management of clients is crucial, including prompt and timely responses to client communication.Desirable qualifications include fluency in English communication, experience working with international clients, a willingness to learn new skills and software, and QuickBooks/Xero certification as an added advantage.
