Job TitleAs a Data Governance Functional Lead, you will drive enterprise-level data governance initiatives across multiple business domains.Key Responsibilities:Establish governance frameworks to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory standards.Facilitate business workshops to define governance objectives, roles, and ownership models.Partner with technical teams to implement governance controls using specialized tools and platforms.Implement and monitor AI governance principles ensuring compliance, ethical AI use, and adherence to organizational policies.Requirements:Strong experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Information Governance within enterprise environments.Proven ability to conduct governance business workshops and translate outcomes into actionable governance models.Experience in establishing and operationalizing governance councils and defining data ownership structures.Hands-on exposure to governance tools and technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, and Informatica.Deep understanding of Microsoft's Security and Compliance Framework and its relevance to data governance.Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated experience working across multiple industries such as Real Estate, Retail, ECommerce, Investment, Hospitality, and Government.Minimum 1 year of experience in AI Governance—understanding how governance principles extend to AI/ML models, data lineage, and responsible AI practices.Preferred Qualifications:8–12 years of total experience with at least 4–5 years in Data Governance.Certifications in Data Governance, Data Management (DAMA, DCAM, CDMP), or Microsoft Data/AI certifications are an advantage.Experience working with cloud ecosystems, preferably Microsoft Azure.What We Offer:A competitive compensation package, health benefits, company-sponsored certifications, training programs, and skill-building opportunities to support your growth and success.A culture of inclusivity and support, with remote work options and a fully supported work-from-home setup to ensure your comfort and productivity.
