Salary Range: Rs. 2.40 to Rs. 4.20 lacs per annum


Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales manager/ asst. manager to join our 5-star hotel in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated sales professional with min. 5 years sales experience, at least 2 years in the hotel industry. Will be responsible for driving sales efforts, building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, and contributing to the hotel's revenue growth. Having own vehicle for sales calls is essential; fuel reimbursement would be provided.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Sales Strategy and Business Development:

  • Drive rooms, food & beverage and banqueting & conferencing business from corporate clients
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets to expand the hotel's client base
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional activities and campaigns to boost sales and brand visibility


Corporate Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers, and other potential customers to generate repeat business
  • Handle inquiries and lead the negotiation process for corporate accounts and group bookings
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction to enhance the hotel's reputation and customer loyalty


Sales Performance Analysis:

  • Track and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to make informed decisions and achieve sales goals
  • Prepare daily sales reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators and progress


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team to coordinate efforts and support each other in achieving overall sales objectives
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, front office, food & beverage service, and events, to ensure seamless operations and enhance the guest experience


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Min. 5 years of prior sales experience, with at least 2 years in the hotel industry
  • Undergrad/ Post-Grad degree/ diploma in sales, marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Telugu will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in Andhra Pradesh and familiarity with the local market will be beneficial
