Enterprise Data Platform Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Data Platform Administrator to implement and maintain the Databricks platform across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform environments. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working in agile settings and have experience supporting Databricks platforms on these cloud infrastructures.Job ResponsibilitiesPlatform Administration: Establish, configure, and sustain the Databricks platform, including workspace setup, user/group management, access control, and security settings.Operational Support: Provide technical assistance to data engineering, data science, and application teams. Troubleshoot service issues, perform restores/recoveries, and resolve platform-related problems.Cluster Management: Install, configure, and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces. Monitor performance, resource utilization, and platform costs.Security and Compliance: Implement access controls and security policies to safeguard sensitive information. Ensure adherence to relevant data governance and regulatory requirements.Integration: Manage connections between Databricks and other data sources such as Snowflake. Optimize data pipelines and workflows.Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for platform provisioning and routine tasks using Terraform.Required Skills and QualificationsAt least 3 years of production support experience for the Databricks platform.Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services, Databricks administration expertise.AWS IAM, VPC, private endpoints, firewalls, S3 knowledge with understanding of Databricks integrations.MLflow, Workflows, Databricks Asset Bundles proficiency.Databricks REST API knowledge for automation, scripting, and integration.dbx CLI expertise for CI/CD integration.Delta Live Tables (DLT) skills for managing streaming and batch pipelines.SQL + PySpark skills for debugging and support.PREFERRED SKILLS: Preferred skill: Databricks certification
