At USEReady, we're seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead our data practice.This role focuses on the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sector.The ideal candidate will have expertise in deep architectural knowledge of Snowflake and proven thought leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Architecture & Advisory (BFSI Core)Solution Articulation: Serve as the lead technical consultant, translating complex banking business challenges into clear solutions.Architecture Design: Define the target state architecture for large-scale data migrations from legacy systems to Snowflake.Security & Compliance: Design and enforce data governance frameworks within Snowflake to meet stringent BFSI regulatory requirements.Emerging Tech: Lead the adoption and application of advanced financial analytics, AI/ML, and data monetization strategies using Snowpark and Snowpipe Streaming.Community Leadership & Thought EvangelismPublic Speaker: Represent the company at global data events, focusing on innovative BFSI use cases.Content Creation: Author high-impact technical white papers, blogs, and reference architectures establishing expertise in financial data modernization.Mentorship: Mentor and train internal architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.Pre-Sales Support: Provide expert guidance during technical discovery sessions and whiteboarding exercises with clients.RequirementsTotal Experience - 15+ years in Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, or Cloud Engineering.Snowflake Expertise- 6+ years of expert experience with the Snowflake Data Cloud.Domain Expertise (MANDATORY) 7+ years of direct experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance sector.Certifications (MULTIPLE) - Required: SnowPro Advanced Architect. Preferred: At least one other advanced certification.Technical Skills - Expert in SQL and proficiency in Python (Snowpark).CompetenciesExecutive Presence: Ability to communicate complex concepts to C-level executives and engineering teams.Advisory Acumen: Proven ability to listen to a customer's problem and map it to a feasible solution.Consultative Approach: Track record of guiding customers through organizational change related to cloud adoption.
