Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Substation Civil Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our high voltage (HV) and extra high voltage (EHV) substation projects.The successful candidate will be responsible for performing civil, structural, and foundation design for AIS/GIS substations, preparing and reviewing GA drawings, layout plans, foundation drawings, cable trenches, control building, and equipment support structures, and conducting design calculations for foundations, structures, and drainage systems using relevant codes.Key ResponsibilitiesCivil and Structural Design: Perform detailed engineering, foundation and building design for HV and EHV substations up to 400 kV voltage levels.Design Documentation: Prepare and review GA drawings, layout plans, foundation drawings, cable trenches, control building, and equipment support structures.Design Calculations: Conduct design calculations for foundations, structures, and drainage systems using relevant codes.Team Coordination: Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and protection teams for interface and design inputs.Project Management: Develop BOQs, specifications, and construction drawings for tender and execution stages, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: B. E / B.Tech, ME/MTech in Civil Engineering.Experience: Minimum 5 + yrs of experience in engineering of Substation Civil Design Engineer (AIS / GIS – 132kV / 220kV / 400kV) EHV Substation, Distribution line Projects.Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Excel, and civil analysis tools, knowledge of IS codes, IEC standards, and PGCIL/NTPC/BHEL/SEB specifications.Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, effective communication and coordination skills, attention to detail and quality focus.BenefitsThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging high voltage and extra high voltage substation projects, develop their technical skills, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.OthersPreparation of feasibility reports and design basis reports for EHV SS and distribution network projects, review of design analysis and detailed construction drawings, vendor document reviews, witnessing factor acceptance tests, managing the entire projects on Technical, Schedule and Cost, coordinate with all project stakeholders.
