Role: Engineering Manager – Cab Systems

Experience: 14 - 20 Years

Job Location: Chennai

Responsibilities:

- Manages engineering for design and development of technologies, components, systems, products and services.
- Hands on experience in Cab and its sub systems - design, selection and development.
- Managing staffing, development, and performance management for engineering teams; motivating and developing project and team members.
- Providing specialized engineering technical support and consulting services to Cab Systems and its components for New Product Introduction and Improving Current Product Quality.
- Managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality.
- Maintaining product release plans and material plans; driving programs to completion on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational, tactical and strategic planning in support of the overall business plan
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours’
- Understanding of the importance of remaining aware of shifting market priorities and ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a manner that consistently adds value
- Knowledge of effective collaboration techniques and ability to build networks with people from different countries and cultures, think and work with them to bring positive impact and flourishing business results
- Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace.

Qualification:

- A Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or Material Science.
- 6 Sigma Black Belt Certified.
