Procurement Strategist JobA key role in procurement, driving strategic sourcing and contract negotiation to secure optimal value for the organization. The Procurement Strategist will oversee supplier relationships, manage vendor performance, and implement procurement governance frameworks across global operations.Main Responsibilities:Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and cost reduction targets.Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring to ensure quality and compliance.Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms, pricing, and service-level agreements with suppliers.Implement effective procurement policies, risk controls, and compliance frameworks to safeguard organizational interests.Oversee purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation to maintain accuracy and transparency.Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to forecast needs and provide seamless procurement support.Conduct market research and analysis to drive cost savings and process improvements.Maintain high standards of ethical, transparent, and sustainable procurement practices.Essential Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in multinational or fast-growing environments.Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of managing diverse supplier portfolios.Solid understanding of procurement governance, cost management, and vendor lifecycle management principles.Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and develop procurement dashboards to inform business decisions.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Experience in service-based procurement (training, events, technology, marketing) is an advantage.
