Establish a State-of-the-Art Battery Manufacturing FacilityAs a seasoned leader in the EV/BESS sector, you will be responsible for setting up and leading a cutting-edge 10 GWh lithium-ion battery pack assembly facility. This role involves driving operational excellence, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality output aligned with business objectives.Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to establish the greenfield Li-ion battery pack assembly facility from concept to full-scale production.Define the plant layout, equipment selection, installation, automation requirements, and production workflow design to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity.Ensure adherence to project timelines, cost objectives, compliance, and quality standards through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Manufacturing Operations – 10 GWh OutputOversee full-scale production operations delivering MWh and GWh level containerized battery energy storage solutions.Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity, yield, safety, delivery, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Guarantee strict compliance with global standards for battery performance, traceability, and industry norms.Promote digital manufacturing implementation including MES, automation, and data-driven decision-making.Leadership & People ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing workforce consisting of experienced senior engineers, supervisors, and technicians.Establish a strong culture of safety, operational discipline, continuous improvement, and accountability.Enable talent development and succession planning to support rapid business scale-up.Supply Chain & Inventory ManagementClosely collaborate with supply chain management to ensure availability of critical components, including cells, modules, BMS, enclosures, and raw materials.Optimize inventory planning, vendor performance, and logistics efficiency for uninterrupted operations.Quality, Safety & Regulatory ComplianceImplement world-class Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS standards).Ensure best-in-class EHS practices tailored to Li-ion battery handling, storage, and manufacturing.Guarantee that plant operations comply with national and international regulatory requirements.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering or related field.Minimum 18–25 years of experience, with at least 5+ years in Li-ion battery pack manufacturing or advanced energy storage systems.Direct involvement in large-scale manufacturing setup and ramp-up in EV/BESS sectors.Strong expertise in MWh and GWh level production, containerized BESS solutions, and advanced automation systems.Proven capacity to lead large teams and collaborate across global supply chain and technology environments.Preferred AttributesEntrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution capability.Excellent stakeholder management and commercial acumen.Strong problem-solving skills, agility, and ability to thrive in a rapidly scaling environment.Passion for clean energy and sustainability.
