ServiceNow Solutions Architect: Lead Technical ExpertA Senior ServiceNow Architect leads the design and delivery of solutions to address specific business challenges. Focusing on projects or functional areas within the broader enterprise framework, they craft technical solutions that meet immediate needs while fitting seamlessly into the organization's IT ecosystem.This expert owns the overall architecture for assigned projects or modules, including designing data models, workflows, and integrations for new implementations or enhancements. They ensure compatibility with existing platform configurations and enterprise standards.Main Responsibilities:Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and understand objectives. Translate business needs into technical designs and architecture for ServiceNow solutions, producing design documents outlining implementation details.Own the solution architecture for assigned projects or modules, ensuring compatibility with existing configurations and standards.Lead configuration and customization of ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM) to meet requirements, overseeing development of features like forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI pages.Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using integration tools and APIs.Act as technical lead for implementation teams, providing guidance to developers and administrators, resolving design questions, and making decisions on trade-offs.Collaborate with QA teams and end-users to develop test plans, participating in system testing and user acceptance testing to verify the solution meets functional requirements and performance expectations.Plan and coordinate go-live activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations, and create documentation for implemented solutions.Monitor solution performance and adoption after rollout, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations for updates or refinements to optimize value delivered by the ServiceNow solution.Ensure all solutions adhere to best practices and coding standards, maintaining the integrity of the ServiceNow platform by avoiding over-customization and leveraging out-of-the-box functionality where possible.Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other IT teams throughout the project lifecycle, communicating architecture decisions and status updates to stakeholders.Key Skills:Excellent communication skills, able to explain ServiceNow capabilities and technical concepts in business-friendly terms.Strong leadership presence to guide developers and specialists, yet collaborative enough to work as part of a broader project team.Skilled in working with end-users and process owners to ensure the delivered solution meets their needs, engaging stakeholders throughout the project to manage expectations and incorporate feedback.Creative problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot issues on the ServiceNow platform and identify root causes.Enthusiasm for continuous learning, with an ability to adapt to the platform's evolving features and stay informed about ServiceNow's latest releases and best practices.Competencies:
