Summary: The Support Administrator provides support for the day-to-day management of the Lexitas IT user facing Infrastructure systems (workstations, printers, networks, servers, data storage, communications, and related areas). Works within IT Operations for support of user systems and applications in central administrative and office support activities for the entire company. Responsibility includes both on-prem and cloud Infrastructure. The Support Administrator is a member of the administrative support team and is responsible for training and assisting other support staff with network support.Essential Functions:Ensure systems availability and reliability (network, email, all systemsservers, backups, etc.)Ensure secure environment provided via workstation security tools and settings, email security tools and settings, AV solutions, and related itemsEngage in detailed troubleshooting of computer, application, and network systemsProvide helpdesk and administrative IT support issues and respond to IT support ticketing requestsAdhere to Policies and Procedures, change management, performance baselines and security frameworksUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizationsSafeguards confidentiality of the medical records and complies with all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to medical records. Assures compliance with all HIPAA regulations concerning use, retrieval, storage and sharing of medical records.Any other duties of similar or lesser nature as requiredSkills and Abilities:Strong knowledge in supporting Microsoft technologies such as Windows, AD, 365, Office and TeamsStrong knowledge in supporting SaaS application usage such as collaboration and file share platformsStrong knowledge in computer networking and security including LAN, WAN, Wi-fi, VPN, DHCPStrong knowledge in supporting computer hardware and accessoriesKnowledge in automated deployment methodologiesKnowledge in advanced end user troubleshootingKnowledge in customer / user support relationsKnowledge in help desk utilization and metricsKnowledge in systems management and deploymentKnowledge in support escalation requestsAbility to analyze complex issues and articulate solutionsExcellent organizational skillsDeadline-oriented and ability to multi-taskEducation / Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred (computer science or related field also preferred)2 – 5 Years of advanced experience in support administrationExperience working in a multi-function, multi-geography environment preferredProven experience designing, building, and managing end-to-end processesMust be able to complete complex projects with minimal to no supervisionEffective problem-solving skillsStrong safety record and a history of adhering to safe work practicesLanguage Skills:Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
