Apply advanced data modelling techniques to optimise data structures for operational and analytical use cases. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise data infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Ensure data quality, governance, and security through best practices and process implementation. Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning. Stay current with emerging trends in big data, cloud platforms, and data engineering tools. Maintain documentation related to data architecture, processes, and solutions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in a data engineering role. Proficiency in Python, Spark, Kafka, CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices. Experience with dimensional data modelling and streaming pipelines. Certified Databricks Data Engineer. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with data governance frameworks and security protocols. Exposure to enterprise-scale data environments and agile delivery models.
