We are seeking a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software testing and automation, with expertise in tools like Cypress and Playwright.About the RoleThe Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our software products. This will involve collaborating with engineering and product teams to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria. Additionally, the successful candidate will need to ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility through automation suites, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and maintain pipeline stability.Key Responsibilities• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress/Playwright for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and release quality standards.Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility through automation suites.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain pipeline stability.Implement test reporting, dashboards, and quality analytics.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve automation failures efficiently.Promote best practices in QA automation and contribute to continuous process improvements.Requirements• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright.Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience in API testing, including mocking frameworks like Postman or similar tools.Strong debugging and analytical problem-solving skills.Exposure to performance testing and visual regression testing.Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.Preferred Skills• Experience with Jenkins, Shell scripting, Java, and AWS.Knowledge of integrating automation within modern DevOps ecosystems.BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and professional development.
