This role will lead on global projects with a technical requirement. The Technical Project Manager will provide expert support with technical platforms and systems and have responsibility for project planning and control. Responsible for developing, in conjunction with the Account Management Team, a definition of the project including the project scope and plan. The Technical Project Manager will ensure that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). They will ensure the project is effectively resourced and will manage relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors – internal & external). This role reports into the Senior Project Manager.


The Technical Project Manager will be based in the Pune office. Initially, this role will be a twelve-month contract, but with the intention that it will become a permanent role.


Key Responsibilities:

·      Detailed project planning and control for technical projects using IG Tools & Processes.

·      Act as SME for all technical components of the project and advise, implement as required (including support of IG Selection and Assessment projects ((build chosen technology platform, automation, filtration, report & statistic generation)).

·      Project management process and schedule adherence ensuring specified deadlines are met.

·      Ensure outputs are of a high quality and innovative – ensuring adequate testing of technical elements.

·      Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively through detailed planning and communication.

·      Recruitment and resourcing for technical projects.

·      Ensure budgets are adhered to and costs are captured.

·      Reducing costs where possible and increasing margins.

·      Manage project risks through appropriate risk assessments.

·      Writing technical related proposals, confirming budgets, looking for opportunities of cost reductions, leveraging procurement opportunities, challenging commercials decisions, and attending sales presentations when necessary.

·      Keep up to date on the latest technical developments that may apply to the needs of clients and the business.

Essential requirements for the role:


·      Experience of working in a client facing role as a project manager including leading client calls, ideally working on global projects.

·      Project management experience in projects with technical solutions, using excel (automation), Power BI and macros.

·      Experience of successfully leading and managing project teams in the execution and delivery of projects.

·      Demonstratable experience of learning new systems and processes to a high standard.

·      A confident and competent verbal and written communicator in English.

·      Relevant technical qualifications.
