We are looking for an experienced professional to join our cloud-native SaaS application development team.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in PHP to work closely with frontend developers and functional scrum units to create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for risk management and compliance workflows.The ideal candidate will have experience with:Developing and maintaining server-side application logic using PHP.Designing, implementing, and optimizing MariaDB database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.Building and maintaining RESTful APIs to support frontend Angular applications and third-party integrations.Implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.Maintaining Docker containerized environments and application deployment processes.Optimizing application performance, database queries, and server-side logic for scalability.Implementing security best practices.Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:7+ years of backend web development experience with strong PHP expertise.5+ years of experience with MariaDB or MySQL database design and optimization.Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs for frontend consumption.Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows.Experience with Docker containerized applications.Experience implementing authentication and authorization systems (OAuth, SAML, JWT).Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.BenefitsThis is a challenging opportunity to grow your career and make a significant impact on our organization.OthersYou must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
