Senior DevOps & Database Reliability EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps & Database Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and recoverability of our databases and infrastructure.This role involves designing, automating, and testing backup and disaster recovery strategies for large-scale databases and production systems. Additionally, you will manage and optimize MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis databases for performance, scalability, and reliability.Main Responsibilities:Create and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.Manage and optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability.Execute database version upgrades, schema migrations, and data integrity validations with minimal downtime.Implement ISO 27001:2022-aligned data protection controls including encryption, masking, and retention policies.Establish and automate RTO/RPO validation and recovery testing in collaboration with DevSecOps and Compliance teams.Build automation for backup validation and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, or cloud-native pipelines.Integrate data leakage prevention (DLP) and access control mechanisms into backup and replication flows.Maintain detailed architecture, DR documentation, and recovery runbooks for audit and operational readiness.About YouYou have strong technical skills in DevOps engineering, database administration, and security.You have hands-on experience with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis in production environments, including upgrades and migrations.You are familiar with ISO 27001:2022 controls, encryption standards, and compliance-driven infrastructure.You have excellent communication and documentation skills to drive operational excellence.Bonus Points:- Experience automating database recovery validation and DR drills.- Exposure to data masking, DLP, and data encryption solutions.- Prior work in ISO 27001 or SOC 2–certified environments.- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Wazuh, or ELK).- Experience in large-scale SaaS environments handling multi-tenant databases.
