Senior Software Engineer II RoleWe are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer II to join our team. In this position, you will lead the development of robust cloud platforms and enhance application observability to ensure seamless monitoring and diagnostics.This role is ideal for someone who embodies an automation-first approach, eliminating manual deployments and empowering developers to be self-sufficient and agile.Main Responsibilities:Maintain a 24/7 platform operation and respond promptly to incidents as needed.Design and implement all aspects of an enterprise platform, including tooling, CI/CD, security, and observability.Make key technical decisions on configuration management, version control, build/deployment management, and automation.Automate tasks to increase team and operational efficiency.Sustain CI/CD pipelines for development and production environments.Develop and maintain automation scripts to support CI/CD pipelines.Promote engineering knowledge through presentations, blogs, and videos with the broader engineering community.Collaborate with product owners and teams to create relevant engineering roadmaps.Explore new technologies to address problems efficiently.Leverage observability tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or similar, to establish enterprise monitoring solutions.Required Skills:The ideal candidate will have a solid background in application development and experience with scripting for automation (Python, Golang, TypeScript, etc.). Familiarity with .NET tech stack is highly valued.CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, Ansible).Configuration management and version control.Automation scripts and workflows.GitOps practices.Monitoring and observability implementation.Cloud Platform Expertise:AWS/Azure/GCP hands-on experience is necessary. The candidate should also possess skills in cloud-native architecture design, IAM, networking, storage, serverless services, multi-account management, security, and compliance.
