Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based systems, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.Your primary focus will be on ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure. This will involve implementing best practices for data storage, access control, and monitoring. Additionally, you will collaborate with our DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.To be successful in this role, you will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. You must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.Desirable Skills:Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Proven hands-on experience supporting the Okta SSO Platform.Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Data Dog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
