Key Responsibilities:Review and correct SAP FI-AA configuration to ensure compliance and accuracy.Identify gaps, errors, and downstream impacts caused by incorrect Fixed Asset Calendar configuration, and develop strategies for correction.Conduct thorough impact analysis on Asset Master Records, Depreciation Runs, Closed Fiscal Years, and Financial Reporting, providing detailed recommendations for improvement.Redesign and correct the Asset Fiscal Year Variant to align with the organization's fiscal calendar, ensuring seamless integration with financial reporting systems.Reconfigure period controls, useful life settings, depreciation keys, asset classes, and value dates as required, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all systems.Lead remediation efforts for impacted assets, ensuring accurate historical depreciation adjustments and full reconciliation with the General Ledger, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.Requirements:7+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI / FI-AA Functional Consultant in SAP ECC 6.0, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Deep expertise in Asset Accounting configuration, including Fiscal Year Variants and Posting Periods, Depreciation Areas, Keys, and Methods, Asset Classes and Number Ranges, Period Control and Asset Value Dates, Year-end processing, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Proven experience correcting incorrectly configured Fixed Asset Fiscal Calendars and performing system realignment, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of FI integration with General Ledger, AP, AR, CO, and MM, with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
