Role: SAP SPP consultant

Location: Chennai

Experience: 3 to 5 Years


Job Description:


You may be the ideal candidate if you have the following capabilities:


  • SAP SPP expertise: Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Service Parts Planning, including planning, forecasting, plan orders, and procurement expertise in the DRP & Deployment module.
  • Core Interface Process: Proficiency in the CIF core interface process, configuration, and maintenance of integration models.
  • APO modules: Strong knowledge of APO modules, particularly Global Available to Promise (GATP), Demand Planning (DP), and Supply Network Planning (SNP).
  • ECC SD & GATP integration: Good understanding of the ECC SD function and its integration with GATP.
  • SPP configuration & business process knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the SPP process, from requirement gathering to solution deployment, with expertise in configuration and business process design.
  • Legacy system interfaces: Experience working with interfaces involving legacy systems.
  • Documentation & testing: Hands-on experience in SAP documentation, including converting Business Requirements Documents (BRD) into configuration documents and functional specifications. Proficiency in creating test scenarios, test cases, and conducting unit testing (UT), functional testing (FT), and integration testing (IT).
  • ABAP debugging skills (Optional): Basic ABAP debugging skills are desirable.
  • Certifications: SAP certifications in SPP/eSPP and APO modules are a plus.
  • Business process understanding: Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Team Interaction & Flexibility: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and business stakeholders. Must be result-oriented and adaptable.
