Job Title: Cloud Financial Operations EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Financial Operations Engineer to join our team. As an established leader in the AI space, we combine deep expertise with a collaborative, agile approach to deliver impactful technology that drives meaningful change.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud financial operations (FinOps), cost modeling, automation, and AI-enhanced optimization. They will work closely with engineering, cloud operations, SRE, governance, and finance teams to improve cloud cost efficiency, forecast spending, and build automated workflows that ensure sustainable scaling across AWS and Azure.Key Responsibilities:Lead comprehensive cost optimization of AWS and Azure cloud services and infrastructure.Analyze AWS and Azure billing data, usage data from asset inventory and monitoring utilization data to assess Engineering teams cloud consumption, identify wasteful spend, and provide actionable insights to optimize spend.Financial analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in spending and financial performance.Conduct deep-dive investigation of cost overruns and optimization opportunities through data-driven analysis.Develop and maintain cost optimization strategies, roadmaps, and forecasting models.RequirementsThe successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:Deep expertise in cloud financial operations (FinOps)Cost modeling and automationAI-enhanced optimizationCloud computing platforms (AWS and Azure)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsWhat We OfferWe offer a competitive compensation package, including:Beneficial health insurance optionsA generous 401(k) matching programOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesA dynamic and supportive work environment
