Senior Data Support SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled Senior Data Support Specialist to serve as the escalation point for data ingestion, pipeline, and consumption issues while ensuring high system stability through proactive monitoring and root-cause analysis.Support escalation point for issues with data ingestion, consumption, pipelines.Monitoring: Proactively monitor data pipeline health to ensure stability and uptime.Root cause analysis: Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues to identify and document long-term fixes.Data quality: Support data quality checks, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.Technical skills: Strong SQL and Python for troubleshooting, knowledge of data pipeline concepts (ETL/ELT), and experience with cloud platforms like Azure, Databricks, Pyspark, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure workbooks, KQL, GrafanaProblem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and prioritize multiple support requests.Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with both business and technical teams.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues.Analyze data pipeline performance and optimize accordingly.Develop and maintain documentation for data processing and quality control.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data technologies.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.8+ years of experience in data support engineering.Strong SQL and Python programming skills.Experience with cloud platforms, data pipeline tools, and data storage systems.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
