Technical skills and competencies:


Execute manual testing for mobile applications (Android and iOS) and web applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and compatibility across devices and browsers.

Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data to ensure thorough testing coverage.

Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using issue-tracking software, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

Perform regression, functional, and usability testing to ensure a consistent user experience and adherence to requirements.

Conduct compatibility testing across different devices, operating systems, and browsers.

Validate mobile and web application compliance with UI/UX standards, and industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and refine acceptance criteria.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team by suggesting process improvements and new testing techniques.


Candidate Profile and Competencies:


Experience: 2-4 years of experience in QA/testing, with a strong focus on mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications.

Manual Testing: Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including test case design, execution, and reporting.

Mobile Testing: Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS, including experience with emulators, Browser stack and real devices.

Web Testing: Proficiency in web application testing, including cross-browser and responsive testing.

Bug Tracking: Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or similar).

Test Case Management: Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and documentation.

Knowledge of Testing Methodologies: Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum processes.

Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and communicate issues accurately and concisely.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
