Assistant Professor of Economics/ Sociology in the Department of Liberal Studies and Social Sciences
Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) is a NAAC A+ accredited university with a campus spread over 70 acres near Gurugram. The SGT University invites applications for Assistant Professor of Economics/ Sociology from talented candidates with a special interest in teaching, research publications in high-standard indexed journals and academic leadership.
Job Description:
The responsibilities for this position will include teaching, research guidance, administration and University development responsibilities.
Essential Qualification:
M.A. in Economics/Sociology with UGC NET and Ph.D. in Economics/ Sociology or a related field. Candidates who submitted their PhD thesis are also welcome to apply.
Preferred Candidature:
- Candidates who are specializing in the development of economics/ sociology or international economics/ sociology.- Candidates who are experienced in academic program design and curriculum development- Candidates have good pedagogical skills, evidence of high-quality research publications, and the ability to formulate research proposals for seeking extramural funding at both national/international levels.- Candidates with international exposure will be an added advantage for consideration.- Commitment to professional development, including staying up to date with recent advancements in research methodologies and pedagogy
