Backend Developer PositionWe are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, particularly in Python and Ruby on Rails, with experience working with industry-leading technologies such as Redis, Postgres, and Cassandra.Rapidly develop next-generation scalable, flexible, and high-performance systems.Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software (backend and databases in particular).Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.Contribute to the growth through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts.The successful candidate will work closely with our Engineering Manager in an agile environment to drive innovation and development of our product.Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.+5 years of experience working with backend technologies.Strong knowledge in SQL and noSQL databases such as Redis, Postgres, or Cassandra.Fluency in Python and Ruby on Rails.Knowledge in Web servers and Web application servers (e.g., Apache, Jetty, Tomcat, IIS).Knowledge in code repository like Git.Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and tight timelines.Database design skills.Perfect quality code.Excellent organizational skills and proven analytical, planning, problem-solving skills.Familiarity with DevOps tasks from server setup to maintenance and recovery.About UsWe are a global consulting company providing solutions to some of the world's largest industrial and services groups.
