Job Description:
Presume DigiTech is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive (BDE) with expertise in bidding on freelance platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and similar channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of acquiring IT projects, generating leads, and driving business growth through online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Bidding and Proposal Writing:
- Actively bid on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and others to acquire IT projects.
- Write compelling project proposals that effectively communicate the company's services and capabilities.
2. Lead Generation and Conversion:
- Identify potential clients and projects across various platforms.
- Engage with prospects through messaging, calls, and presentations to convert leads into clients.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain and build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
4. Project Coordination:
- Understand client requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
5. Market Research:
- Conduct research to identify new opportunities for business development in the IT sector.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor strategies to maximize bidding effectiveness.
6. Sales Strategy and Growth:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase sales and project acquisition.
- Meet or exceed revenue and sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Key Skills Required:
- Bidding Expertise: Hands-on experience with bidding on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.
- IT Services Knowledge: Familiarity with software development, web and mobile app development, and digital marketing services.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with international clients.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand client requirements, propose solutions, and communicate them to the technical team.
- Client Handling: Experience in managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on bidding and project acquisition in the IT industry.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing IT projects through freelance platforms.
