The role demands to lead, motivate, mentor, and provide ample guidance to team members with respect to product capabilities and technical challenges. The role is also expected to make a difference to the product in terms of innovation, platform mindset, and best designs and contribute towards identifying technical risks and finding alternate solutions to problems.Your ImpactManage a high-performing team of 12-15 engineers and own the accountability of complete end-to-end deliveryDrive design, development, implementation and documentation of engineering solutions.Excellent stakeholder and program management skillsEstablish best engineering practices and operation excellence backed up with product, engineering and scrum metricsInteract with PANW engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.Work closely with the Architects and cross-functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) within the established architectural guidelines.Work with senior leadership to chart out the future roadmap of the productsParticipate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high-performing agile teams.Participating in organizational events like hackathon/demo days etc.Interact closely for requirements with Business owners and technical teams both within India and across the globe.Mentoring and coaching the team and helping them growQualificationsYour Experience10+ years experience in building products and managing high-performing teamsHave led a team of 10-12 engineers and owned accountability of E2E deliveryExcellent stakeholder and program managementExtensive experience building services using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, PythonAdvocacy for engineering and operational excellence.Exposure to developing large-scale data platforms using cloud technologies and Data warehouse products like BigQuery and Athena.Proficient in understanding and handling Non-Functional requirements (NFRs)Strong experience in running cloud-distributed system in production for at least 2-3 yearsExperience in creating high-performing, highly scalable, and distributed middle-tier services, in the Cloud like GCP or AWSObject Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.In-depth knowledge of Restful/SOAP web servicesKnowledge of unit testing frameworks (Junit/Spock/Jest etc) and code quality control platforms Experience in CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GCP DevOpsWorking knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologiesStrong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions.Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly.
