BS / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Description:The candidate should have proficiency, adequate skill set such as -

Soundknowledge in basics of electrical and electronics engineering. Should haveindependently engineered power systems upto EHV. Experiencein sizing of transformers, capacitors, reactors, earthing & lightningsystems, lighting systems, cabling systems, battery UPS systems Exposureto low voltage and medium voltage VFDs Shouldbe able to evaluate vendor product drawings UnderstandLV MCC & PCC power distribution system Switchgear and auxiliary componentsselection. MV power distribution systems includingswitchboard selection, protection relay selection and coordination to designoverall protection for the power system, Soundknowledge and hands on experience on ACAD, EPLAN Exposureto Overall plant layout engineering, selection of optimum route, coordinationwith other utilities routes to avoid conflicts in cable route, cable tray andsupports, earthing & lightning design and layout preparation, lightingsystem design and layout preparation, overall bill of quantities for variouslayout components such as cable trays, tray supports, earthing strips,lightning conductors, earthing pits, lighting equipment including fixtures,distribution boards, cables. Basicunderstanding of controller Based automation like Digital I/O & Analog I/O. Collectingand compiling of data for the power system studies

Conducting Power system studies such as Load flow study,short circuit study, Dynamic Motor starting study, Harmonic analysis, Transient& load shedding study, Relay coordination study with Unit protection, Arcflash study, Insulation co-ordination study, Transformer inrush current study,Renewable Energy and Grid Integration Studies using ETAP tools

Preparing of study report

Supportingproposal team in estimation for bids Co-ordinatingwith client, consultant and project management team Goodunderstanding of BIS / IEC standards and implementation in design.

MandatorySkills:

• Strong Engineering Fundamentals.

• Requires strong skills in change management, problemsolving, communication skills, customer orientation, product technology, globalbusiness perspective, personal effectiveness, project management, team skillsand quality.

• Ability and skill to drive Engineering excellence.

Ability to work / liaison with 3rd party vendors inevaluating manufacturing feasibility of components and sub-assemblies,preparing engineering cost estimates. Ability to be a Project team player

• Clear thinking, Good Communication skills and ability tocollaborate with Global teams.

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
