BORA is an uber-luxury brand that beamingly partners with all the major International & a few Indian Kitchen brands. BORA has two experience centers in India in Bengaluru & in New-Delhi. About the Role - BORA INDIA (CREADORA INDIA PVT LTD) is seeking applications from young professionals for the role of ‘Service Engineer - Bengaluru’, who could manage a world class brand’s premium Experience Centre. Responsibilities - Installing various types of Hobs, Extractor and ducting parts for customers. Maintaining an accurate record of all items/parts used to repair, replace, or maintain appliances. Examining customers' appliances and identifying the cause of appliance breakdowns. Performing maintenance work on customers' appliances. Providing rough estimates to customers on how much it would cost to repair damaged or malfunctioning appliances. Repairing or replacing defective or damaged appliance components upon approval from customers. Advising customers on how to use appliances correctly. Reassemble units after repairs are made, making adjustments and cleaning and lubricating parts as needed. Talk to customers or refer to work orders in order to establish the nature of appliance malfunctions. Test and examine gas pipelines and equipment to locate leaks and faulty connections, and to determine the pressure and flow of gas. Trace electrical circuits, following diagrams, and conduct tests with circuit testers and other equipment to locate shorts and grounds. Clean, lubricate, and touch up minor defects on newly installed or repaired appliances. Install appliances within a building and inform the customer of how to properly use the machine and what needs to be done for routine maintenance. Troubleshoot issues as they come up, and replace any broken components, such as ceramic glass, Program control board, Touch control panel etc. Record all the work that was done on the work site in order to bill the customer. Visit work site before doing any work, and provide customers with an accurate estimate of how much a specific job will cost. Maintain inventory of all the company’s tools and spare parts, and recommend restocking when needed. Observe appliances after a job is complete to ensure it performs its desired function. Disassemble appliances when it is necessary to find the damaged part, and reassemble appliance perfectly afterward. Offer emergency services when necessary and occasionally be on call during evenings to assist customers who are experience drastic problems.
