Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled SMT Programming Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering programs within established times and introducing new products and existing improvements.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry, as well as proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable business goals and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver programs within established times and introduce new products and existing improvementsComply with program requests in accordance with the introduction of new products in each workcellVary +/- 1% of quoted time in SMT programs in accordance with specifications set monthlyAssist in modification, optimization, and line balancing requests by ME's and MS's as requestedUpdate all SMT backup information monthlyImplement the MES QM system use in the area of manufacturing engineering in accordance with the new product introductions set by upper managementProvide training to manufacturing engineering technicians in the generation of programs and visual aids using Valor softwareTrain Manufacturing Engineers in the generation of process routes in the MES systemImplement at least one Engineering improvement projectRequirements2 years in SMT and TH processes, Programming SMT/TH equipment or a combination of education, experience and/or trainingStrong financial and analytical abilityProficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprintStrong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimesProven track record of successful change management accomplishmentsStrong and convincing communication skillsProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills requiredBenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex projects and develop your skills in SMT programming and manufacturing engineering.You will have the chance to work with a talented team and contribute to the success of our organization.
