Job Title: Freelance Product DesignerLocation: Bangalore preferred (for in-person collaboration when needed)Engagement: Freelance / Contract (2–3 Months)About the RoleWe are a stealth-mode AI startup building what we believe will be the world’s smartest recruitment platform — one that redefines how companies discover, evaluate, and hire talent using AI, data intelligence, and deeply human-centric design.We’re looking for a Freelance Product Designer who can take full ownership of designing the end-to-end MVP experience — UX flows, UI, components, brand direction, and high-fidelity prototypes.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in 0→1 product environments, can think strategically, and execute with exceptional speed and clarity.What You’ll Work On1. Core Product ExperienceDefine user journeys for recruiters, candidates, and internal workflows.Convert rough problem statements into clear UX flows and wireframes.Design intuitive dashboards, workflows, and interaction models for AI-driven hiring.2. UI Design & Visual SystemsCreate a modern, minimal, global-quality UI library and design system.Build high-fidelity screens for web (and optionally mobile).Establish consistent visual identity across product surfaces.3. Prototyping & CollaborationProduce interactive prototypes for engineering handoff and testing.Work closely with founders and early engineers to iterate quickly.Suggest UX simplifications and product experience improvements proactively.What We’re Looking ForMust-Have2–6+ years of experience in Product / UI/UX design (preferably SaaS or AI products)Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design workAbility to translate complex AI-driven workflows into clean, elegant UXExperience designing dashboards, multi-step workflows, and data-heavy interfacesHigh-speed execution with attention to detailComfortable working in scrappy, iterative, fast-paced environmentsGreat-to-HaveExperience with B2B SaaS, HRTech, or AI/ML-based productsFamiliarity with design systems (e.g., Figma, AutoLayout, Component Libraries)Understanding of candidate/recruiter workflows or HR toolsAbility to conceptualize motion design / micro-interactionsAvailable for occasional in-person sessions (Hyderabad/Bengaluru)What You’ll Love About This RoleOwnership of the entire MVP experienceAbility to shape the visual DNA of a global AI-first platformFast execution, quick feedback loops, and direct founder collaborationYour work will define how thousands of companies hire in the futureOpportunity to extend into long-term design partnership
