API Governance SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced API Management Professional to design, implement, and operate our Enterprise AI API platform.Designing and building APIs using API management technologies, such as API Connect, DataPower gateways, or equivalent platforms.Defining API governance policies: authentication/authorization, rate limits, quotas, versioning, and lifecycle management.Managing the API gateway: routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation, and traffic control.Setting up and maintaining the developer portal: publishing APIs, onboarding internal/external consumers, documentation, self-service subscription.Monitoring API usage, performance, latency, error metrics; analyzing usage patterns and production issues.Handling API security and resilience: secure back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation, high-availability.Key Responsibilities:API Design and Development: Design and build APIs using IBM API Connect, DataPower gateways, or equivalent API management platforms.API Governance: Define API governance policies, including authentication/authorization, rate limits, quotas, versioning, and lifecycle management.API Gateway Management: Manage the API gateway, including routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation, and traffic control.Developer Portal Management: Set up and maintain the developer portal, including publishing APIs, onboarding internal/external consumers, documentation, self-service subscription.Performance Monitoring: Monitor API usage, performance, latency, error metrics, and analyze usage patterns and production issues.Security and Resilience: Handle API security and resilience, including secure back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation, and high-availability.
