Enterprise API Management RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Enterprise API Manager to spearhead the design, implementation and operation of our AI-driven API platform.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, development, security and DevOps to craft a scalable, secure and robust API ecosystem using cutting-edge technologies.Develop APIs leveraging industry-leading platforms such as IBM API Connect and DataPower gateways.Define API governance policies encompassing authentication/authorization, rate limits, quotas, versioning and lifecycle management.Manage the API gateway, ensuring seamless routing, transformation, orchestration and protocol mediation (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).Establish and maintain a developer portal, publishing APIs, onboarding internal/external consumers and providing self-service subscription capabilities.Monitor API usage, performance, latency and error metrics; analyze usage patterns and production issues.Ensure API security and resilience through secure back-end integrations, payload validation and threat mitigation.Stay up-to-date with emerging protocols (GraphQL, WebSockets) and evolving API management best practices.
