Service Now Testing- Consultant Job Description: The Role-We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled resource having 5-8 years of IT (InformationTechnology) experience with expertise in Service Now Testing, who will play crucial role in drivingthe process efficiency and innovation through the implementation of technologies and solutions andshould also have below technical skills: Must have strong experience in ServiceNow testing. Must Have experience of workflows and testing various ITSM modules (Incident, Change,Problem, Request, IT Asset Management, CMDB) Knowledge of testing methods and processes, experience in functional and data testing High awareness of software quality, strong analytical and conceptual skills, Communicatingclearly and effectively Hands on experience in Functional testing System/Integration & UAT Should have expertise in preparing detailed Test Cases, writing Test Scripts by decomposingBusiness Requirements, Test Scenarios and Test execution. Good knowledge of STLC, Black box test techniques & methodologies. Experience with defect management applications like HP ALM (Application LifecycleManagement), Jira, Azure DevOps, etc. Document test results including logging bugs with detailed steps to reproduce fordevelopmentteam. Identify and implement test tools for functional, regression and performance testing includingautomation frameworks/harness.The Person- Experience across the various facets of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process witha specific focus on QA (Quality Assurance), test strategy and execution. Hands-on experience with variety of testing tools, Manual functional testing with agile andscrum methodology. Experience developing overall test strategy and plans for complex system implementationsincluding a variety of technologies and design patterns. Experience in Functional Testing/Integration Testing/Regression Testing/System Testing/ E2ETesting and Acceptance Testing Must be flexible to work on any project requirements and work timings. Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality. Excellent communication and reporting skills to executive management on testing activities andissues. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Test issues troubleshooting and guidance to peers and juniors. You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior management andstakeholders, and to build and maintain formidable team and client relationships. You have excellent skills in acquiring and analysing test data. Assessing problems from multiple angles to ensure all relevant issues are considered whenmaking decisions.
