Position: Product, Governance & Domain Expert

Experience Required: 6–8 Years

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product, Governance & Domain Expert to bridge the gap

between business strategy, domain knowledge, product development, and AI governance

frameworks. The role demands hands-on expertise in defining product requirements, ensuring

compliance and governance in AI-driven systems, and applying domain-specific

knowledge (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom, Retail, or Manufacturing) to ensure business adoption

and regulatory alignment.

This is a hybrid role requiring strong product management, governance oversight, and domain

expertise to shape responsible, scalable, and impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business, technology, and governance teams to ensure

successful AI/Cloud product delivery.

• Define and document product requirements, user stories, and domain workflows aligned

with enterprise strategy.

• Provide domain expertise to guide AI model training, validation, and business adoption.

• Establish AI governance frameworks covering ethics, compliance, fairness, and

transparency.

• Collaborate with legal, compliance, and security teams to ensure regulatory adherence

(GDPR, HIPAA, AI Act, industry-specific regulations).

• Support risk assessments, audit reviews, and governance reporting for AI/ML platforms.

• Partner with engineering, UX, and data science teams to translate domain/business needs

into technical specifications.

• Ensure KPIs, metrics, and success criteria are defined and tracked for product

performance.

• Create playbooks, policy guidelines, and domain blueprints for enterprise-wide AI

adoption.

• Contribute to stakeholder communication including C-level updates, regulatory reporting,

and customer engagements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of experience in Product Management, Governance, or Domain Consulting.

• Strong background in one or more domains (Healthcare, BFSI, Telecom, Retail,

Manufacturing, etc.).

• Proven expertise in product lifecycle management – from requirements gathering to

release and governance.

• Knowledge of AI/ML systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise IT landscapes.

• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, compliance standards, and responsible AI

practices.

• Strong skills in documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams – engineering, UX, compliance, and data

science.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in governance tools or frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST AI RMF, COBIT, SOC2).

• Familiarity with regulatory environments (GDPR, HIPAA, EU AI Act, PCI-DSS, etc.).

• Hands-on with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Aha, Productboard).

• Certifications such as PMP, CIPP, CISM, or Responsible AI/AI Ethics credentials.

• Previous work in AI-driven or digital transformation programs.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related

domain.

• Additional certifications in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or Domain-specific

specializations are a plus.
