Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.You will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions. Additionally, you will develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.In this role, you will also be responsible for monitoring system performance, analyzing trends, and implementing improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency. Furthermore, you will implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.Administer company SaaS platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces. Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to our infrastructure.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Tools and TechnologiesProficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.Proven hands-on experience supporting the Okta SSO Platform.Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Data Dog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
