Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical professional to join our team as a Senior React Native Developer.This role will involve leading the design, development, and maintenance of our mobile application using React Native and Expo (EAS).The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and enhancing high-performance Design Systems using TypeScript and component API best practices.Additionally, they will develop and maintain the core Network Layer, ensuring efficient data fetching, robust error handling, effective caching strategies, and streamlined data transformation.One of the key responsibilities will be to drive app performance optimization, specifically focusing on reducing re-renders, minimizing Bridge traffic, leveraging JSI for smooth animations, and optimizing bundle/startup time for a consistent 60 FPS experience.The ideal candidate will take full ownership of core mobile features from concept to deployment.They will also contribute to high code quality through rigorous peer review and knowledge sharing.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native and Expo (EAS)Architect and enhance high-performance Design Systems using TypeScript and component API best practicesDevelop and maintain the core Network LayerDrive app performance optimizationTake full ownership of core mobile featuresContribute to high code quality through peer review and knowledge sharingRequirements:Strong experience in designing and developing mobile applications using React Native and Expo (EAS)Excellent knowledge of TypeScript and component API best practicesExperience with developing and maintaining the core Network LayerProven track record of driving app performance optimizationAbility to take full ownership of core mobile featuresStrong communication and collaboration skillsBenefits:Opportunity to work with a high-growth, venture-backed startupChance to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge mobile applicationCollaborative and dynamic work environmentCompetitive salary and benefits package
