Job Description:


Zitrino is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to support our clients' business needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver customized ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations that enhance productivity and streamline processes.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Development and Customization: Design and develop custom applications, workflows, and modules within the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements.
  • Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using APIs, REST, SOAP, and other integration tools.
  • Service Portal Development: Build and maintain ServiceNow portals, customizing user interfaces to provide a seamless experience.
  • Scripting and Automation: Write and debug JavaScript and GlideScript to automate business processes and workflows.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Address technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform and perform troubleshooting to resolve them efficiently.
  • Configuration and Deployment: Manage the configuration of ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, and others.
  • Testing and Documentation: Conduct unit testing, prepare technical documentation, and ensure that changes are deployed without affecting production environments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, business analysts, and project managers to understand and translate business needs into ServiceNow solutions.
  • Best Practices: Follow ServiceNow development best practices, ensuring compliance with ITIL standards and company policies.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Request Management.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Script Includes, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow APIs and integration tools (REST, SOAP).
  • Experience with Service Portal development and custom UI development.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator.
  • Experience in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CMDB.
  • Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and instance management.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.) is a plus.


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
