Climate Smart Dairy SpecialistAs a Climate Smart Dairy Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting multi-disciplinary science and research initiatives on sustainable dairy practices in India. Your focus will be on enhancing scientific and technical collaboration and research, as well as partner engagement.Cross-functional collaboration: Support the development of multi-disciplinary research and implementation projects across livestock and dairy in India, with an emphasis on technical, scientific, and operational capacity building.Technical Capacity Building:Provide expert technical and scientific support to partners, including landscape assessments of livestock and dairy sector challenges in target geographies to inform problem identification and solution development.Contribute to knowledge exchange between India-based and international teams, ensuring alignment on science and research priorities.Partner Engagement:Build and maintain relationships with local partners, dairy companies, milk cooperatives, technical and scientific research institutions, stakeholders, and governmental agencies, fostering strategic partnerships for agriculture, water, and food programming.Represent your organization at in-person meetings and events across India, promoting collaborative efforts and agreements.Project Management:Develop and implement strategies to document progress and prepare regular reports for key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.Time Zone Coordination:Participate in cross-time-zone meetings, effectively balancing real-time and asynchronous communication to ensure seamless collaboration.Communications:Contribute to the development of written materials, including white papers, blog posts, and other content, tailored for internal and external audiences.Support fundraising and grant writing initiatives, leveraging your expertise to secure resources for climate smart dairy projects.Equity and Inclusion:We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds and considering all qualified applicants without bias.
