It should capture only the key responsibilities of the role.SECTION III: ResponsibilitiesPolicies, Processes and ProceduresConduct day to day activities & follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating and maintenance procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerKeep self abreast with leading practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and proceduresReview test procedures and formats; Standardize and implement best practices and group guidelines for instrumentation system improvementWorkshop Maintenance PlanningPrepare workshop instrumentation maintenance cost and budgeting and oversee adherence to the same to ensure efficient utilizationCreate maintenance schedules at a daily, weekly and monthly basis for instrumentation maintenance activities in coordination with planning and plant maintenance teamsCreate the resourcing plan as per the maintenance schedule in order to handle day-to-day workshop instrumentation maintenance activitiesEnsure maintenance KPIs of workshop instrumentation are met on a regular basisWorkshop Maintenance OperationsReview, prioritize and execute critical instrumentation maintenance activities while ensuring adherence to highest quality standardsCoordinate with other functions and follow up for external repairs; Oversee maintenance of instrumentation equipment at site common areasManage the planned turnaround and shutdown services performed on instrumentation equipment and systems to ensure they are maintained, tested and calibrated timelyManage the inventory of spare parts related to instrumentation systems, including identification of spare parts, tracking inventory levels, inspection of received materials, and ensure availability and standardization of critical sparesSupport in identification of root cause for failures and perform risk assessment, as well as provide inputs in trouble shooting measures that prevent repetitive failuresConduct training and skill development of team members as per requirementsCompliance & DocumentationManage documentation related to compliance audit and support in ensuring adherence to statutory, HSE compliance, including RESOP, CASHe, HSEF mandatory trainings, etc.Manage repair and test records, MIS, and reporting documents related to instrumentation system maintenance and update the same in a timely mannerSECTION IV: SUCCESS METRICSSafety Score of the respective PlantProduction / throughputMaintenance Score of respective PlantTechnical Availability of the PlantTotal no. of failuresNo. of Repetitive failuresEquipment Inspection Overdue / ExtendedCL ProductivityCL CostSECTION V: OPERATING NETWORKKey Interactions: Key interactions which are essential to execute the role. This will include both internal and external stakeholdersInternal: Human Resource, Administration, Workshop, Planning, Security, Plant Maint, GMS etc.External: Vendor, Equipment Manufacturers, service engineers, contractors, Statutory agencies via CAD etc.SECTION VI: KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIESEducation Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Instrumentation/ Electronics stream) or a Master's degree in Engineering/ Technology (Instrumentation/ Electronics stream) (Preferred)Experience (Must Have & Good to Have): 4+ to 10 years of experience in industrial / instrumentation workshop maintenance (field/industry/domain)FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIESKnowledge of instrumentation systems and its maintenance practices, and predictive diagnostic testing toolsKnowledge of instrument systems codes, standards and proceduresKnowledge of reliability tools such as reliability centred maintenance, FMEAKnowledge of various codes and standardsDomain Knowledge of Instrumentation EngineeringConversant with Instrumentation workshop practices.
