SQL Server Data Migration Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to lead the data conversion from Oracle Fusion to Salesforce.This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of SQL Server-based ETL processes, data modeling, and transformation logic. The successful candidate will design and build robust data validation and reconciliation scripts/reports, optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability, and collaborate closely with onsite teams to ensure seamless integration.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement efficient ETL processes using T-SQL and stored procedures to migrate data from Oracle Fusion into Salesforce.Develop and maintain staging tables, mappings, and transformation logic to align Oracle Fusion data structures with Salesforce objects.Analyze the Oracle Fusion data model and map it to Salesforce standard and custom objects, ensuring accurate data mapping and minimization of data loss.Create and execute data validation and reconciliation scripts/reports to ensure completeness and accuracy pre- and post-load.Optimize SQL queries and jobs for performance and scalability on large data volumes in SQL Server.Collaborate closely with onsite teams to align on object model, required fields, and data constraints.Troubleshoot and resolve dataload issues, referential integrity problems, and performance bottlenecks during mock cycles and cutover.Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including mapping documents, conversion design, runbooks, and data dictionaries.Support mock runs, dry-runs, and final cutover during Salesforce go-live, including extended hours overlap with US time zones where required.
