We are seeking an experienced Medical Safety Physician with a strong background in Pharmacovigilance to join our team.Job Title: Medical Safety PhysicianKey Responsibilities:Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of individual case safety reports obtained from clinical trials, spontaneous, and solicited reports.Determine regulatory reportability of cases within assigned therapeutic teams and across all products/sites.Perform triage of cases and determine seriousness and relatedness across products as assigned.Review and verify the selection of adverse events from source documents, assign MedDRA codes, assess labeling, and review narrative.Maintain current knowledge of product portfolios and safety profiles for products across therapeutic areas.Educate clients on complex case issues and escalate as necessary.Conduct assessments of litigation cases across products as assigned.Identify and resolve case issues, coordinate with client teams/site for specific products or functional groups.Communicate effectively within and across client teams and within functional management as appropriate.Stay up-to-date on applicable Global Health Authority regulations.Requirements:1-3 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance.Strong competence with medical and therapeutic terminology.Understanding of Patient Safety regulatory obligations.Good attention to detail.Ability to deliver within established timelines.Fluency in Spoken and written English and excellent comprehension.Skills:Experience with relevant safety databases and software applications.Proven ability to perform task management.Proven people management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Goal-oriented and able to maintain a professional attitude.
