Cloud Security Engineer Role About the OpportunityAt Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we are building next-generation cloud security and compliance solutions. Our team is dedicated to helping customers secure their data, ensuring flexible access to their environment, detecting vulnerabilities and threats in their environment, source code, applications, and containers, and taking remediations to protect customers based on industry best practices such as CVE and CIS. ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking skilled software engineers to join our Cloud Guard / Assurance Service team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for architecting and developing scalable, innovative solutions that ensure OCI resources start secure and remain secure. Your tasks will include:- Building automated mechanisms for compliance reporting, control deployment, and exception management.- Working closely with top engineers, product managers, and security teams to deliver features that strengthen OCI's security posture and provide a unified, single-pane-of-glass experience for both detective and preventive controls. Key Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this pivotal role, you will need to possess:Reliability: We need engineers who can build services that can reliably protect our customer cloud environment.Performance: The dynamic and fast growth of the business is driving us to improve the ability of our systems to scale out and handle traffic patterns with full coverage that are several orders of magnitude greater than what we can support today.Cybersecurity: We need engineers who can keep up our solution in a fast pace to securely protect our customers.
