Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

Your work profile:

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in our T&T Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (Tech BA) who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with deep technical expertise in SQL, AWS data services, and BI tools, while also leading requirement gathering, solution design, and delivery oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirement gathering, KPI definition, and business alignment in collaboration with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using AWS services (Redshift, Athena, Glue, Data Net, S3).
• Drive SQL query optimization to enhance pipeline performance and dashboard responsiveness.
• Build and maintain scalable BI solutions (Quick Sight preferred) for executives and business teams.
• Mentor and guide engineers/analysts , resolve blockers, and ensure smooth delivery.
• Translate complex business challenges into actionable, data-driven insights that influence decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Advanced SQL expertise (Joins, Window Functions, CTEs, Stored Procedures, Indexing, Query Optimization, Execution Plans).
• Strong experience in AWS Data Stack (Redshift, Athena, Glue, Data Net).
• Proven ability to design scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data models .
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Quick Sight preferred; Power BI, Tableau a plus).
• Strong business problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Location and way of working:

• Base location: Bangalore
• This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
