About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Content Editor (SEO) to manage the editorial calendar, optimize content for SEO, and ensure high-quality, timely publication. The role involves collaboration with writers, designers, and other stakeholders, as well as continuous assessment and improvement of content performance.


What you will deliver:

Content Management & Editing:

  • Proofread, edit, and restructure articles for clarity, accuracy, and SEO optimization.
  • Review content for grammar, style, tone, and alignment with brand voice.
  • Optimize content based on SEO guidelines to improve visibility and performance.

SEO Optimization:

  • Optimize both to-be-published and existing content following SEO best practices.
  • Focus on improving organic search traffic through keyword integration and search engine guidelines.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Editorial Planning:

  • Manage and oversee the editorial calendar to ensure timely content creation and publication.
  • Coordinate the workflow of multiple writers, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Generate fresh content ideas based on industry trends and company objectives.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to align content with organizational goals.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to writers to enhance content quality.
  • Ensure clear communication across teams to maintain editorial standards.

Performance Monitoring & Improvement:

  • Assess the performance of content using key metrics like organic traffic and engagement.
  • Continuously improve content based on performance data and feedback.
  • Implement strategies to boost content effectiveness in line with organizational goals.

Industry Research & Trends:

  • Stay informed on industry-related topics and trends to keep content relevant and engaging.
  • Apply best practices from SEO and content marketing to maintain industry leadership.


Must Haves for the Role:

  • Proven experience as a Content Editor, with a focus on SEO.
  • Strong understanding of SEO practices, keyword research, and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Excellent editing, proofreading, and restructuring skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple writers and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and feedback skills for team collaboration.
  • Ability to generate content ideas based on trends and company goals.
