Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer who excels in creating clear, intuitive, and visually engaging designs for non-tech-savvy users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user experience, particularly in the B2B space, and a deep empathy for MSME users who may be using a digital platform for the first time. Your primary goal will be to create designs that are simple, effective, and accessible, empowering our users to navigate our app with ease.


Key Responsibilities:


  • User-Centric Design: Conduct research and user interviews to deeply understand our B2B and MSME users, ensuring our design decisions meet their needs and capabilities.
  • Intuitive UI/UX: Develop easy-to-use and visually appealing interfaces that resonate with low-literacy and non-tech-savvy users.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to test and validate designs through user feedback sessions and iterative improvements.
  • Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with our development teams to ensure that design is effectively translated into functional mobile and web experiences.
  • Simplified Visual Language: Utilize icons, images, and minimal text to communicate functions and options clearly, making navigation simple and engaging.
  • Accessibility & Inclusivity: Ensure designs are accessible to users with limited experience or literacy, incorporating feedback from user testing to refine the product experience.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain a cohesive look and feel across the product that aligns with Biizline’s vision, using colors, typography, and styles that promote trust and ease.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: 3+ years in product design, preferably with experience in B2B applications or for non-tech-savvy users.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), and knowledge of prototyping and testing tools.
  • Empathy for Users: Experience working with users from diverse educational backgrounds, with a focus on making technology accessible.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to clearly convey design choices and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to create polished, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse complex user journeys and design intuitive solutions for easy navigation and task completion.
