The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Python, OpenSearch, Azure, OCR techniques, and working with data manipulation libraries like pandas and numpy.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing scalable web applications, focusing on PDF processing, data extraction, and seamless integration with cloud services. You will also ensure high standards of testing and code quality through collaboration and regular code reviews.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using Python.Implement and optimize search functionality using OpenSearch.Work with Azure cloud services for hosting, data storage, and computing resources.Implement OCR techniques for document processing and data extraction.Perform data manipulation and analysis using pandas and numpy.Handle PDF processing tasks using PDF libraries (e.g., PyPDF2, pdf_annotate).Ensure high standards of code quality through testing and code reviews.Work with Git for version control and branching strategies.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong expertise in Python programming language, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.Experience with OpenSearch and Azure cloud services for scalable web application development.Proficiency in OCR techniques, data manipulation using pandas and numpy, and familiarity with database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and debugging across various development environments.Ability to participate in code reviews, collaborate in Agile methodologies, and contribute to technical discussions and documentation.Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu environments.
