Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake administrator to manage, optimize and secure our data platform.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key role in the organization's data management strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and administer the full Snowflake environment, including warehouses, databases, schemas, stages, file formats, and pipes.User, role & access management, including create, modify, and manage users, roles, and permissions following RBAC best practices.Security & governance, implementing Snowflake security features, such as masking policies, row-access policies, encryption, OAuth, SSO & MFA.Performance optimization, monitoring query performance, troubleshooting slow-running queries, and optimizing virtual warehouse sizes, auto-suspend, and auto-resume settings.Data pipeline support, working closely with data engineers to support Snowpipe configurations, streams & tasks, internal and external stages (S3, Azure Blob, GCS), ETL/ELT integrations, and ingestion frameworks.Cost management, tracking and optimizing compute and storage costs, implementing usage monitoring dashboards and alerts, and providing periodic cost reports and recommendations to leadership.Maintenance & monitoring, daily monitoring of Snowflake logs, warehouse consumption, and system health, troubleshooting operational issues, and managing updates, patches, and Snowflake release assessments.Required Skills and QualificationsProven experience in administering and managing large-scale cloud-based data platforms.Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake architecture, configuration, and security features.Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and risk management principles.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.BenefitsAs a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and advancement.OthersIf you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data management and security, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
